Our seagull of the month for March 2026 was photographed on a lovely, sunny day whilst taking a stroll in Hermitage Park. In the background you can see a few of the countless daffodils to be enjoyed around the town at this time of year.

February’s seagull of the month was captured paddling gracefully in the calm shallows near Craigendoran. This one looks deep in thought – perhaps thinking of the warmer months ahead and hoping for an uptick in the better food to forage for.

This month’s seagull was captured floating by the foreshore, periodically dipping its head under the water as it scavenged. The River Clyde was quite still at high tide, causing ripples to radiate with every move the ‘gull might make.
