This picture was submitted by a local parent out enjoying a sunny evening in Hermitage Park when he spotted this seagull perched upon the climbing frame. Unfortunately, he explained, as he went to take the photo the seagull took flight, which made for a great photo in our opinion!

This brave ‘gull was pacing ever closer in the flower bed in Colquhoun Square in late May, keeping a watchful eye on the snack I was eating. He eventually flew away when he realised there was nothing left of my meal deal for him to poach!
