This stunning image of a seagull grooming itself was captured at the end of Helensburgh Pier on the last weekend in November, far away from the vibrant atmosphere in Colquhoun Square as Helensburgh’s Winter Fest’ unfolded.
In the background you can just about make out the rusted façade of The Clyde Bar and the red of whatever restaurant currently sits beside it. Sadly, we’ve forgotten.
