Perched atop of one of the new lampposts, this seagull surveys the area – probably in the hope of spotting some lunchtime leftovers from the chip shops.

Once the temperatures start falling, it’s a slippery slope into winter as this young seagull demonstrates by keeping his feet out of the chilly waters of the river Clyde.

This picture was submitted by a local parent out enjoying a sunny evening in Hermitage Park when he spotted this seagull perched upon the climbing frame. Unfortunately, he explained, as he went to take the photo the seagull took flight, which made for a great photo in our opinion!

Our graduate reporter, Charlotte, spotted this seagull perched upon a red Mercedes on James Street. This defiant looking bird merely stared back as she took the picture and seems oblivious that the police are onto him!

This brave ‘gull was pacing ever closer in the flower bed in Colquhoun Square in late May, keeping a watchful eye on the snack I was eating. He eventually flew away when he realised there was nothing left of my meal deal for him to poach!
